Nice to virtually meet you, and welcome to my website!
I am a Visual Artist in Multimedia with various studies in many art forms, with a focus on 3D character animation, and a high expression of interest in character design. From watching Disney movies, cartoons, and old movies to, "Are those.......crayons?!" lol Animation, art, film, any medium really, is home to me. Even when I didn't know what animation was when I was little, I just knew I wanted to be an artist. I love to make this planet laugh, entertain, create art in many forms, dance when nobody's watchin' - especially with my sweet Ewok Shih Tzu baby is even better! And yes, she really is an Ewok, and has all the poses to go with it, lol, which is the very reason why she was named, Wicket from Star Wars! I love spending as much time as possible with my little Ewok, go hiking, enjoy the outdoors, yoga, and always looking for any artistic and healing influence wherever I go. It's a lifetime spark that says, "I just.…......can't do anything else!"
I love to draw, animate, photograph what my creative eye sees, visual arts, bring characters to life from an empty canvas, and with great stories to tell. From drawing, to metal art, 3D character animation, storytelling, character design, storyboarding, 3D modeling, sculpture, independent film, videography, photography, editing, visual effects, motion graphics, just to name a few, lol. All of these mediums coming together like a puzzle, to create magic in the end, is very rewarding, and humbling at the same time.
Bay Area native, yours truly, got a late start with my education and training in June 2001 - Arizona quickly became my second home, especially in Northern Arizona. Studying 2D and 3D character animation at Collins College in Tempe, Arizona, Multimedia and Digital Video, at The University of Advancing Technology in Tempe, Arizona, and Motion Picture and Television, at Scottsdale Community College, in Scottsdale, Arizona. In 2013, I attended Animation Mentor, next to Gnomon School of Visual Effects (online), and planning on advancing my animation studies even further. All have been massive blessings for me! I have worked very hard throughout the years to get to where I am at today, I have enjoyed every part of my artistic journey, and I'm still not done yet! lol I have met and worked with some amazing, talented and humble people, all across the planet - "Intervention", "Little People, Big World", "AKC Eukanuba" , "American Idol", "Deal or No Deal", just to name a few - some became friends, and some even became extended family for both my furry kid and I.
From the Ewok furry kid pit of my soul, I had a blast launching Cold Noses Photography in early 2010. Photographing dogs of all backgrounds, all paws of life (especially the candid shots, lol), it was a huge blessing, for pet parents to allow me to capture and trust me with their furry kids. My Ewok Shih Tzu has always been use to the lens (especially in film school), and has always known when to look at the camera, lol. Whimsical background props were created for every holiday theme, to give the furry kids some extra spice, and show them off even more.
Playing a small role, any role, on any unique project, having the opportunity to work with talented artists, crew alike, and a collaborative production team with positive good vibes, is a very rewarding experience! I hope you enjoy taking a looksie at my work, as much as I have enjoyed creating and producing every project. Can't wait to humbly see what happens, in the next part of my journey!
I currently hang my shawl, and paw five with my sweet Ewok Shih Baby, Wicket, in the beautiful mountains of Flagstaff, and jaw dropping red rocks of Sedona, Arizona. I am currently looking for an entry level position in the art, animation, film, and gaming industry, or related field - also willing to relocate.
Thank you for your time, and for visiting my website and portfolio. You may reach out to me via email at: lisacstefani@gmail.com. Be well, safe travels, paw five, and keep on rockin'!
